early in the morning

i hang out with my tcm classmate - revathi !

this is the 1st time hang out wif her ~

and the 1st time i hang out wif other races people !

nice experience ! ^^

tat day is holiday

so we decided hang out shopping together..

we planning go times square !

haha

tat day is my 1st time taking alot of kind of public transport !

taxi, bus, monerail, ktm !!

OMG !

all in one day ~

真的很痛

嘴巴里面外面都缝针

很难想象要怎么吃东西和喝水 ！

mid term exam finish

FINALLY!!!!

finish my mid term exam !

yeah !!

i m suffered so much on this week !

stress until cannot slp at nite !

and lie on the bed so long time just can sleep !!

AND just sleep not more than 5 or 6 hours per day in this week !!

BUT i still wake up at nite and study !!

Inhaling Cigarette Smoke Damages Genetic Within Minutes

One more reason for you to stop smoking.  Many may think that the side effect of smoking will only affect you years later.  However researchers showed that cigarette smoking can damage your genetic within minutes after inhalation into the lungs, which will eventually leads to cancer.  The study of tobacco causing DNA damage linked to cancer is published in Chemical Research in Toxicology.

Second-hand smoker may even be worse off.

Heavy dope smokers attract serious lung disease faster

The deep, slow inhalation and long breath hold is predisposing cannabis smokers to a condition of rapid lung destruction much younger in life, a study by Melbourne researchers has found.

A team from the Department of Allergy, Immunology and Respiratory Medicine at Monash University reviewed the lung condition of middle-aged chronic cannabis smokers.

They found high rates of bullous lung disease, a debilitating condition where air trapped in the lungs causes obstruction to breathing and eventual destruction of the organ.

It is often caused by exposure to toxic chemicals or long-term exposure to tobacco smoke.

Studies have shown the disease will most likely strike tobacco smokers around the age of 65, but the new review, published in the journal Respirology, shows dope smokers are being hit 20 years earlier, while in their early 40s.

acupuncture and moxibustion on ourselves !!

we are going to try acupuncture and moxibustion on ourselves

woah !!

this is moxibustion do on ur navel

but of course not put tat thing on the cloth lar ~

u muz pull up ur cloth and put it on the navel

after a while u can feel it is quite hot on ur navel

it is good for female

bcoz can regulate ur qi and menstruation

when the lecturer poke in the needles and turning the needles

she said not pain ==''

at first we all dono how to do

plus we scare the patient will pain !

the lecturer let us try how to pull out the acupuncture needle only !

bcoz we still new in meridian point !

these was the needles our lecturer going to use for today

poke in the needles in 45 degree

 we cant just pull out the needles like this

bcoz when the needles is pull out

there muz hv some bleeding

so muz take a cotton to press on the place where poked ~

if ur physician not do this to u, ur back muz bleeding

if serious bleeding how?

so muz bcareful ya ^^

the most scary part is skull acupuncture !  ><

today i saw it !

when pull out the needles , there got some blood coming out 

but our lecturer was stop it with cotton !

this part is more easily to bleed

sometimes will bleeding alot, but sometimes not ~

im scare for the those needles !!  ><

some needles nid to poke in deeper

some not !

i think the deeper 1 is more painful ~

but the patient say not pain.. ==

the more painful part i saw today is the leg

when my lecturer poke in the needles 

can heard the patient shout !!  ><

OMG !

the another part is fengchi point 

today this patient got do acupuncture at this point 

everybody hv this 2 points

juz beside the spinal of ur neck

u try to put ur hand, and u can feel there is two holes there

and there is fengchi point

try to press a little bit , and u can feel some sensation there

this point is very important 

and muz do this carefully !!

we nid to try this ourself and feel wat the feeling that patient feel !

i scare !!

we going to do the moxibustion

bcoz i taking chinese medicine program !!

at patient body ~~

here is some picture of moxibustion

the white color with burning tat 1 actually is a kind of herb

usually we use it with acupuncture

dang !! dang !!

tats why we called it acupuncture and moxibustion ! 

we put the white color tat 1 on the acupuncture needle

and then burn it

until got smoke coming out 

then juz leave it until it finish burning

after tat can take it off ^^

but !!

BUT !!

we cant do moxibustion without a piece of card placing below !

bcoz the things tat after burn will drop down or

maybe half burned 1 drop down and will hurt the patient !

so be aware of this !!

this is the white color 1

it is called Aizhu (艾柱)

when it is burn

it will produce a strong smell

the smell i still can tahan lar ~~  =)

the smell is actually the herbs 

LAST ...

which is cupping !

anyone have any idea about cupping ?

yeah !

if not i'll show u wat is cupping here ^^

this is the traditional way

which is use the fire !

and this fire will put in the cup for a second like tat

then take it out from the cup

and then put the cup quickly on ur body

the cup will suck on ur skin

today!

our lecturer going to teach us the another way

the thing tat look like the gun which is use to suck up ur skin 1

1st,,we put the cup on the right point 

then after tat we use this gun to suck it up

until cant suck anymore

then take the gun up

juz leave the cup on the body for 5seconds or 1minutes like tat

this show the healthy person

from the color of the skin we can know it

u can see the skin color is light,,and not the dark purple or black or very red in color

this is the dark purple color

after taking out of the cups u can observed ^^

this is light red in color

considered healthy ~

this shows tat the way to lose the air in the cup

then u can take the cups away from the patient's body

if after take away the cup

the cup mark is like this

got some water there

it mean tat there is a dampness inside the patient's body

and the blood there is bcoz the patient juz finish doing acupuncture

usually we will do the acupuncture 1st then juz do the cupping

juz take the cotton to clear away the blood is ok

nothing problem with the blood ^^

no nid to scare ~

it is quite fun for today ^^
